Laboratory Services Management
LabCheck, our Web-based laboratory services management program, is an integrated ordering and reporting system for managing all your renal laboratory services. Easy-to-use, it includes simple order entry, comprehensive patient management and extensive standard and customized reporting capabilities.

LabCheck ensures secure, fast, and efficient access to test orders and results and comprehensive views of individual patients, facilities or multiple facilities. Clinicians can use LabCheck’s patient report cards, trend analysis and cumulative reports to monitor patient care and facility outcomes. With access from any Web-based computer, care providers can readily have the information they need to be more effective and efficient in providing patient care.

LabCheck's reporting enables renal clinicians to monitor, compare, and evaluate a patient’s treatment with a variety of reports from numerous sources—from your own facilities, regional networks, the Centers for Medicare and Medical Services and national data.

Clinicians then can regularly review these reports, identify problems and develop collaborative treatments and interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes and overall clinic improvement.

Instrumentation and Facilities
In 2003, as part of our own effort to continuously improve, we opened a 24,000 square foot testing facility in Redwood City, CA with increased capacity, throughput and quality controls. With state-of-the-art equipment, the facility is staffed by licensed clinical laboratory scientists, accustomed to directly serving only dialysis clinic staff—doctors, nurses, patient care technicians and dietitians.

We have invested extensively in the latest robotics and instrumentation to ensure rapid turnaround times and quality results. This includes over $3M in 2006 alone in specimen processing equipment.
