Mr. Beyer brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare services. Mr. Beyer comes to Satellite Laboratory Services from Specialty Laboratories, Inc., where he was president, COO and a member of the Board of Directors. As its first external President in 1996, he led Specialty through a tremendous revenue growth period, introduced more than 500 new assays to healthcare providers, and led the company in a successful IPO. Prior to joining Specialty, Mr. Beyer was CEO of Medical Laboratory Network, a regional provider of clinical laboratory testing services in California. Mr. Beyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Niagara University and Masters of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Patti Hunsader, MT, CLS, ASCP, Vice President of Operations
Ms. Hunsader manages and oversees all operational aspects of the laboratory. She has over 21 years experience
in operations, successfully managing growth from start-up to large volume reference labs. Ms. Hunsader holds a
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is a licensed
clinical laboratory scientist having completed her medical technology internship at San Jose State University
and El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and California Clinical Laboratory Association.
Brigitte Schiller, MD, Clinical Medical Director
Dr. Schiller brings over 20 years of nephrology experience in research and clinical areas. She is board-certified
in internal medicine and nephrology, following residencies at Northwestern University, Illinois and the University
of Chicago, Illinois, respectively. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Freiburg, Germany and
completed her postgraduate training in internal medicine and nephrology at the University of Munich, Germany. In
addition to private practice, Dr. Schiller has published numerous papers on kidney disease and continues to conduct
research in new treatment areas and establishing guidelines for patient management.
Jeffrey Vizethann, Vice President of Sales
Jeffrey Vizethann has over 20 years experience working with clinicians and their laboratory services needs. Prior to
joining Satellite Laboratory Services, Mr. Vizethann served as Sales and Marketing Manager for Clinical Diagnostic Services. He
began his career as a Territory Sales Manager for SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories. Mr. Vizethann holds a
Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
